Maternity Leave is Here!!!

I got my stitch removed last week, and it hurt like hell! It was imbedded into my cervix, and it was more painful getting it out than putting it in. The good news is that it worked, and my baby Jack had a chance to thrive. He measured at around 6 lbs 2 oz that day when they did a growth check on him. I am now 37 weeks and 2 days, and they are putting in paperwork to induce me at 39 weeks. If I do not go into labor before, I will be admitted into the hospital on January 2nd, and induced the morning of the 3rd. I was really hoping to have him in 2019, but only for monetary reasons. My doctor said that at 39 weeks they would induce me. So at this point, it is just a few weeks away from meeting Jack. His furniture for his room is all put together. His room is mostly ready besides organizing. I think we have most everything we need for him. I officially have a week left of work before I start maternity leave, and I have been getting everything prepped for my team to cover me while I am out. It is so exciting, and strange to know that in just a few weeks I will have a ...
